Martin Goss met with Chief of Staff Monica Illsley and Euro MP Barbara Gibson for a tour of the University of Essex campus and the Knowledge Gateway which is helping cutting edge technology businesses to grow.

Martin Goss said “I am so impressed with the major investment and growth going into the Univserity which shortly will be home to 20,000 students. The University provides a world-class education in many important subjects and the knowledge gateway is so important to retain these students in our area helping the local economy to grow.”

“We have an issue in Colchester with a low wage economy and the knowledge gateway is helping to bring high value jobs to Colchester.”
